In the spirit of service, not self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who served by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship,peace and security.
To be eligible to join the Auxiliary you must be a spouse, daughter, granddaughter, mother, grandmother or sister of a living or deceased Veteran. Eligibility requirements are if your Veteran is living they must be a member of an American Legion Post anywhere in the country. If your eligible Veteran is deceased, you would need to prove that they served during their lifetime with either a DD214 or military ID card.
