Children are the future of our nation. It is up to us to provide them with the knowledge, leadership skills and a commitment to service that they can use as productive adult citizens of the United States.
The American Legion of today is focused on the education and welfare of our country’s children. The issues facing young people are greater than ever before. Our organization continues to follow the guidelines set forth by our Founding Fathers as we seek to serve our nation’s youth.
The current Members of The American Legion have been entrusted with the responsibility of upholding this pillar of our nation’s veterans caring for their children as well as the nation’s children. Here are some of the youth programs sponsored and supported by Post 294:
